They eat dinner ar six o'clock sharp every night and have the same meal each Monday, each Tuesday, each Wednesday and so on.

And have no children for personal reasons.
John and Mary go their separate ways in the morning because they both have jobs.

To live on the seaI've often wondered why and how we decided to live on the land rather than the sea.To live on the sea
However practical living on land is; solid platform on which to build and you don't run the risk of drowning it would be interesting to see what life would be like.
Nothing would ever be stable anyway and there would be boats (which would be common anyway) instead of buses or cars for transport.
Yachts would be the equivalent of cars, ferries of buses.
There would be such thing as road transport but its useage would consequentially be diminished.
Swimming would be the first learning curve in your life and walking
